As you no doubt know a growing problem for men today is Erectile Dysfunction.
High stress lifestyles cause them not to eat proper, get the proper rest, and neglect medical visits. These cause a vicious cycle which leads to conditions such as Diabetes, Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure (Hypertension), and Stroke just to name a few. As the cycle continues to progress, these problems finally migrate into what is known as Erectile Dysfunction.

When a man gets Erectile Dysfunction the medical conditions listed above create enzymes in his blood stream. These enzymes accumulate and eventually get to the point where they do not allow sufficient passage of blood into the erectile tissue of the penis to promote an erection. This condition leads to frustration for both partners.

During the initial stages is the best time to treat any ailment, and Erectile Dysfunction is no different. If it is treated early enough the penis can return to normal functioning faster than if treatment is delayed. Sadly though, the male ego often times does this very thing. Male pride causes a man to utter some of the most dangerous words ever known…. Maybe it’s going to go away.

Left untreated the only thing that will go away with Erectile Dysfunction is your hope of getting back to a normal sex life. To do this you need to do two things:
first swallow your pride and then swallow a Viagra.

Make contact with your physician today. Make that appointment.

Now I know that not everybody is diabetic, but it seems the number of people being diagnosed with diabetes is growing more and more every day.  Between sodas (which have no good properties whatsoever in them) being consumed in more gallons daily than automobile gasoline, stress, and other factors; diabetes is getting to be a disease that a majority of the populace will soon have.  I plan to discuss diabetic foot care here, but these tips are good tips for non-diabetics as well.

* Keep Your Feet Clean – This is of utmost importance. Make sure that when you
bathe you dry between your toes to prevent fungal infections. Use the towel to go
between each toe individually for complete dryness.

* Keep Nails Trimmed – As you take care of your feet you can take care of your toenails as well. The nails should be trimmed to a length to where they can fit comfortably in shoes and socks without snags.  It is also a good idea to make a small ‘V’ cut in each nail to allow it to grow smoother and allow easier trimming.

* Wear Clean Socks – Wear socks that are not too tight and allow the foot to breathe air.  White is best for hygienic reasons.

* Wear Comfortable Shoes – Proper shoes will not only be comfortable, but also have an open toe box to allow your foot to breathe.  Be sure not to lace them or Velcro them too tightly, just snug enough to keep on feet.

If you follow these common sense tips it will minimize your need to visit a podiatrist. So take care of those feet.

COPD stands for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.  The indications of it are that it is very hard for you to breathe because of multiple breathing disorders.
Your doctor will perform what is known commonly as PFT.  PFT stands for Pulmonary Functions Test. You breath into a tube long and hard as you can.
You will be given some medicine and then you try testing again to see what improvement if any was on the previous readings.  The PFT will print out a pattern of your breathing so the doctor can possibly diagnose the exact nature of your problem.  He will also do a simple test called oxymetry.  Oxymetry is very painless and takes seconds to complete.  The doctor will place a thing that looks like a high tech clothes pin on one of your fingers, in seconds it will show what percentage of air you are receiving compared to what you should have used.

To have COPD you must be diagnosed with at least two respiratory disorders.
If you’ve been told you have both asthma and bronchitis, most likely you have it.
Other combinations of respiratory distress can cause COPD as well.

If you get diagnosed with it, your doctor will most likely give you pills and/or an inhaler to control it.  In severe cases a nebulizer may also be prescribed.  These items are the best treatments for COPD.

If you think you may have COPD, call your doctor right away.  The sooner you’re treated, the better you’ll feel.
