God is the one who has instilled the brains in the scientists who are working every single minute to try to come up with a solution of the epidemic. We must be grateful for that. All the prevention tactics are clearly prescribed in His word. He advocates for abstinence and being faithful to your partner. He is the one who will bring a permanent cure to all maladies AIDS included when he will feel the time is right. We do not need to give up or to doubt his existence.

You are also obliged as a person to stop the spread of HIV. You can begin advocating for prevention strategies to everyone who has an ear to listen. You can also choose to avoid being infected by practicing the same. Above all take care of your partner. For those already infected, you can always ensure that you do not spread the infection to your partner or anyone around you. You must also learn to spread love even to those who are infected. They need your support. They need to be bolstered to keep living positively. Some of them are only victims of circumstances.

Before a cure can be found, the only way is to prevent new infections. This is either you as the one who is already infected or not. Be responsible for your own life and that of the people around you. This is the only way we will live this life well. We cannot live on our own; we need our neighbors to survive and to share a smile with. Do not neglect your neighbor because they are ailing. You could be the one in that situation. What would you want to be done for you? Do the same thing to your neighbor. You will be rewarded greatly in the end for saving a life and helping making the world a better place.

We are all aware of the importance of sleep in our well being. If we have a good night sleep, among the things we will enjoy is being awake and alert throughout the day. This is a very vital aspect of life as they are the key to our well functioning. However, the sad thing is that not everyone is privileged to enjoy the good night sleep. Because we know what sleep means, we are going to choose to have sleep in a healthful way. We will not tolerate anything that hinders the sleep we have but we will struggle to fight it out. It is your sole responsibility to take care of your health by ensuring good and enough sleep.

This means that the preventive measures we have in place are only behavioral. The challenge comes when people are unwilling so much to work on their lifestyles but they risk for infection. The difference here is that the trends of infection are still rising though the development to full blown AIDS is dropping. People have proven difficult and unruly. 

At least there is also hope for those who already have AIDS. Even though you cannot be cured today, there is hope in the future. If the scientists fail, we know God will heal all of us some good day. This is what we must look forward to. The only obligation we have then is to try and live this life well now in the sense that we don’t sin against God and miss the privilege of regaining our health.

I know all of us love good health. If you are not infected, take good care of the health that you have now. Be responsible, make wise choices and get rewards. If already infected, avoid being blood guilt of infecting others knowingly. You are also responsible for your well being by keeping the clinic visits. This way, you will live long and a good life.
